  This place does the BEST tea!
  
  However, the food selection is a little lackluster, particularly the cakes. I remember coming a couple years back and it was better so may be an off day.
  
  My friend was less impressed having ordered the butternut squash soup to get VERY watery soup with a chewy inedible bread roll. They did rectify this by giving her some tea bags to go home.
  
  Overall it was quite embarrassing for myself as I'd been saying how good this place is! It's saving grace though is the tea! Will definitely continue to purchase my supply of Southsea Breakfast but will give the tea rooms a miss in future.
