  We travel from nr. Fleetwood to Wight link at Gosport to visit our daughters. Due to the driving distance of 300 miles, traffic accidents & roadworks render actual timings impossible..Indeed we missed our last sailing by 15 minutes . Despite leaving home at 08.00 for a 16.00 sailing.
  
  We always bk the 16.00 hr boat as it is the easiest to guarantee being on time.We were advised to do this and they let us believe that if room was available they would allow us to sail early.
  
  Today 9/8/17..we had an incredible run ..ironically - as to give ourselves a better chance ...we left home at 06.30 for the 16.00.
  The traffic was extremely light and we arrived after driving non stop for 6 1/2 hrs.at 13.00
  
  On arrival we were told ..too early ..come back after 15.00 as W/link don't allow the early sailings anymore. So here we are in atrocious weather ...looking for somewhere to park in a place we don't know.
  
  Being disabled isn't conducive to walking about ...but hey ho I suppose that's life .Can't sail early and can't park.
  
  I am not complaining. ..just saying it as it is .
